In this lesson we are going to have an awesome time learning how important it is to have FUN, FOOD AND FELLOWSHIP in our lives.
What do you think does these three have in common? (Fun, food & fellowship)
Well I also think it has JOY written all over those words
FUN is joy (games, sports, parties etc….)
FOOD is a joy (eating together, cooking together)
FELLOWSHIP is a joy (talking, building lasting relationships….)
Don’t you think so? Let them reply.
Ecclesiastes 8:15
So I commend the enjoyment of life, because nothing is better for a man under the sun than to eat and drink and be glad. Then joy will accompany him in his work all the days of the life God has given him under the sun.
Joy is fun…. Being outward focussed. Would you rate your self as a joyful person? On a scale of 1-10!
1 Thessalonians 5:16
Be joyful always;
Be joyful always.
When was the last time you invited someone over for a meal?
Do you have a lot of close friends now? (Friends whom you confess with, pray with etc)
Fellowship is very important.
1 John 1:7
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.
Talking about feelings? Is it important?
Acts 2:40-44
40 With many other words he warned them; and he pleaded with them, "Save yourselves from this corrupt generation."
41 Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.
42 They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.
43 Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles.
44 All the believers were together and had everything in common.
The disciples shared almost everything. It’s very important to talk about how you feel to someone close and that can
happen only when there is close fellowship and friendship.
Let Jesus lead your joyful life with the Letter J in being a fun person...

L ive (To love)
WE SHOULD MAKE A DECISION TO BE GREAT FUN-LOVING, JOYFUL, AND GIVING DISCIPLES TO MAKE OUR CHURCH AN AWESOME ONE.
