1. Worship in Spirit and Truth
John 4:24 - God is spirit and his worshippers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.
- True worship is not just rituals or tradions
- It must come from the heart (spirit) and be based on God's Word (truth)
2. Worship with Revereance and Awe
Hebrews 12:25 - Let us be thankful and so worship God acceptable with reverence and awe.
- Worship is honoring God's holiness.
- Approach Him with respect, not casually.
3. Worship with a Clean Heart
Psalm 24:3-4 - Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord? ... The one who has clean hands and a pure heart.
- Sin hinders worship.
- Confess and cleanse before you come.
4. Worship with Thanksgiving
1 Samuel 15:2 - Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise
- God values obedience over outward acts.
- Live a life that honors Him
5. Worship with Your Life
Romans 12:1 - Offer your bodies as a living sacrifice
- Worship is more than Sunday singing.
- It's how you live every day for God's glory.
