Galatians 4:6-9
4 Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, "Abba, Father."
5 So you are no longer a slave, but a son; and since you are a son, God has made you also an heir.
6 Formerly, when you did not know God, you were slaves to those who by nature are not gods.
7 But now that you know God--or rather are known by God--how is it that you are turning back to those weak and miserable principles? Do you wish to be enslaved by them all over again?
Imagine you are a son of a great king or a president. Your life will be totally different. What are some dreams you will have being such a son of a king?
We are children of God. We are no longer a slave but a son. God has made us also an heir. Do we have dreams for His Kingdom? What a privilege that God has called us as His sons and daughters.
Are you enslaved by anything or anyone or any other miserable principles / convictions?
Application
List out the weak and miserable principles, you are tempted. Turn back to God and pray through it for God to deliver us. Discuss with someone who can help you scripturally to root out such things.
