These questions have been designed to help make your study of the Book of Matthew practical for you. It is important that you answer these questions honestly, from your heart and not with an intention of impressing anyone with your knowledge.
The Book is divided into 28 chapters. Each chapter is further divided into verses. Questions have been written from each chapter. To answer the question, refer to the verse ("V") in the left hand margin.
The Book of Matthew is a study of the ministry of Jesus Christ as recorded by one of his disciples, Mathew, a Jewish tax collector. Matthew was with Jesus from the beginning of his ministry in AD 30 until Jesus' death approximately 3 years later. Matthew was then one of the first Jews who converted to Christianity when the Church began in approximately AD 33. We will begin with chapter 3.
