Proverbs 22:9
The generous will themselves be blessed, for they share their food with the poor.

One important way to express our generosity is to give to the poor and needy. His generosity is simply sharing, for he shares his food.

A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed. (Proverbs 11:25)

Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. (2 Corinthians 9:6)
