Proverbs 22:22-23

22 Do not exploit the poor because they are poor and do not crush the needy in court,
23 for the Lord will take up their case and will exact life for life.

Deuteronomy 15:7 - If anyone is poor among your fellow Israelites in any of the towns of the land the Lord your God is giving you, do not be hardhearted or tightfisted toward them.

Sometimes people think that poor don’t have great resources, or influence to defend themselves. The scriputre says the Lord will take up their case and defend them.

Proverbs 19:17 Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will reward them for what they have done.

Remember the poor today and do the needful.
