Proverbs 24:13-14

13 Eat honey, my son, for it is good; honey from the comb is sweet to your taste.
14 Know also that wisdom is like honey for you: If you find it, there is a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off.

Honey is good for reviving a hungry man. Honey also tastes sweet for pleasure in eating it. Gaining wisdom is energizing and delightful, and then it leads to rewarding prosperity.

Wisdom is pleasant and profitable for the soul, like honey is good and sweet for the body. Wisdom has great reward for those who apply it and do it, but not for those who merely observe it, see it, or hear it.
