You fell into sin
Now you believe the lie
“You’re useless to God”
So there’s no need to try
There’s nothing you can do
To correct your wrongs
You stop reading and praying
And singing worship songs
You stop being open
No need to confess
You don’t live a life
God is willing to bless
So you go back
To living like you’re lost
“A dog returns to its vomit”
But at what cost
Don’t believe the lie
God’s very forgiving
But you must repent
