There’s always a reason
The question is
What’s in this season
Leadership issues
Unrepentant sin
You’ve taken to heart
Judging those within
Don’t like the music
Or the song selection
Why don’t they talk
About this election
Sermons preached
Rubbed you the wrong way
With so many issues
Why should you stay
I understand
I’ve been there too
After 26 years
It’s nothing new
I offer this
If you’re on the fence
Some wrongdoings
Have no defense
We the people
Make up the church
But if unhappy
You’re free to search
If you should find
What pleases you
Just be sure
It pleases God too
