Flowers, cards
And candy too
Will you feel loved
If none are given to you
All of those things
Are expensive to buy
Cards will fade
And flowers will die
Candy is eaten
And soon forgotten
Relationships spoil
And turn out rotten
Not all of course
But some of them will
Your first "love"
Do you "love" them still
In First Corinthians
Chapter thirteen
Is where true love
Can really be seen
If this is the love
That you've received
Please share with those
Who might be deceived
Perishable gifts
Are given for a day
But the love of God
Will never fade away
