You can’t get
Did God say “No”
Or “Not just yet”
Now you enter
The struggling state
Because either way
You don’t want to wait
This becomes
A dangerous phase
If you revert back
To your old ways
Your ex-life
Has open arms
Hoping you’ve forgotten
The way that it harms
That you’ve forgotten
The hurt and pain
How hard it was
For you to maintain
Your ex-life
Looks good this season
But never forget
