A Woman of God
Entered the room
She needs no makeup
Or sweet perfume
But if she chooses
It’s all okay
Even a wig
On a bad hair day
A mani and pedi
Are not required
But perfectly fine
If so desired
Never just
Spinning her wheels
Walking in flats
Or 5” heels
She may fall
But not for long
She’s beautiful
And spiritually strong
She walks with purpose
Each and every day
Stopping to encourage
Or kneeling to pray
Her confidence
From God alone
Never announced
But always shown
Her value
Not from being a wife
But obedience to God
And a surrendered life
God’s daughter
A sight to see
Clothed in grace
And humility
