You left God for
Was it because
They offered you more
More sacrifices
Than God has done
As He gave the life
Of His only Son
More Love
Than God could ever give
Unconditionally
For as long as you live
More peace
Than our God provides
Comforting you
While the storm subsides
More salvation
That’s impossible too
Because only God
Can save you
The answer’s No
They can’t give you more
Than the God
You were created for
Ultimately
You settled for less
But you have the option
To repent and confess
Come back to the God
Who offers you more
Than the life you decided
To settle for
