Your heart and soul
All the "giving"
Has taken its toll
You need a break
Some time for you

When you're through
A "break"...in general
Is a good thing
But a "break from God"
Could be everlasting
Satan prowls
Like a roaring lion
Seeking the young
Old, injured and dyin'
He's seen your "status"
Don't be deceived
He'll offer a vacation
That he's conceived
You post the times
That you'll be "away"
Home left unguarded
For a thief to play
When you return
Your valuables are gone
No more convictions
To help you carry on
Satan is working
Twenty four - seven
To ensure none of us
Ever make it to Heaven
Just a reminder
To stay on the alert
A "break" from God
Might eternally hurt
