Disciples are hurting
Are you aware
Have you reached out
To show you care
I understand
If you’re hurting too
And in need of someone
To reach out to you
From losing a loved one
To unfulfilled needs
To being unemployed
With no job leads
From problems with children
With no end in sight
To financial concerns
Keeping you up at night
A battle at church
You can’t seem to win
Where do you turn
When God reveals sin
Whatever the case
You’re not alone
But you can’t solve them
On your own
To avoid issues
Being settled in courts
We need to adopt
What we see in sports
When someone’s hurting
They show unity
Athletes unite
By taking a knee
We should as well
In fact…take two
To pray for others
As they pray for you
