If you leave God
Satan wins
No grace remains
For the forgiveness of sins
Once your house
Has been swept clean
Seven more demons
Return to the scene
Your condition then
Becomes the worst
Even more dire
Than you were at first
Coupled with that
The ripple effect
It’s not just your soul
That suffers neglect
The lives you touched
The faith you shared
Now all question
If you really cared
Looking for God
Looking for a church
But your departure
Will end their search
The ripple effect
It multiplies
Those who believe
Satan’s lies
Family and friends
Who questioned your conversion
Feel justified
As you choose perversion
The ripple effect
They invite you in
To the lives they lead
Riddled with sin
Unfortunately
The damage is done
You’re separated
From God and His Son
But there’s still hope
If you leave the Lord
You can still repent
And be restored
