Is she supposed to
Cook and clean
Remain silent
And seldom seen
Take care of the kids
And you as well
Without any goals
Or a story to tell
To wait on you
Hand and foot
Clean the dust
And the soot
Essentially
Living as a maid
Without the benefit
Of getting paid
I’m sure that woman
Can be found
But that perspective
Isn’t Biblically sound
In Ephesians 5
Verses 21 thru 33
God describes
How a marriage should be
There must be Love
And much respect
No harsh treatment
Including neglect
Love one another
As God loves you
Commit to that
Before saying “I do”
