Some leave the church
In search of perfection
Others leave
Because they hate correction
Some will go
In search of Love
But there’s none greater
Than God above
Others leave
When they feel betrayed
Despite the Disciples
Who earnestly prayed
At the end of the day
We’re all adults
We make mistakes
We all have faults
We make decisions
We might regret
For we haven’t reached
Perfection yet
If you want to leave
For what offended you
Just keep in mind
You’re imperfect too
Satan will smile
And even applaud
When there’s no grace
For the perfectly flawed
