Sharing your faith
Comes in many forms
Some going against
The social norms
From scavenger hunts
To street preaching
On a crowded train
Loudly teaching
On social media
Leaving a post
Which is the method
You prefer most
All can be
Very effective
I choose to be
A bit more selective
Speaking to a crowd
On a bus or train
From those events
I’ll refrain
They can become
A calamity
Due to the mob
Mentality
Some street preach
And it’s quite a show
I prefer one on ones
With those I know
They’re the ones
Who see how you live
The people you help
The time you give
They’ve seen you fall
And how you repent
There’s intimacy
In the time spent
I do the same
Posting poetry
Those interested
Will DM me
It doesn’t matter
Which method you choose
If the Gospel is preached
Satan will lose
Some in the masses
Might get annoyed
But the Word of God
Never returns void
An invite to church
Is not the same
As sharing your beliefs
In Jesus’ name
So share your faith
With those you meet
Whether one on one
Or on a crowded street
