Satan's very crafty
He knows just what to do
Find your deepest desires
And present them to you
Most search for love
So he finds you a mate
Casual conversation
Soon leads to a date
Blinded by "love"
You fall into sin
So many compromises
Satan scores a win
It's not just the Singles
It’s the Married's too
When "for better or worse"
Takes its toll on you
Teenagers as well
That curious generation
Schools are fertile ground
Saturated with temptation
Everyone seeks love
But is that what they find
It's just smoke and mirrors
Satan being kind
One of his gifts
Wrapped especially for you
Only God offers Love
That's tried and true
Do you desire success
Have a love of money
They can be a diversion
That Satan thinks is funny
Worldly pleasures
Satan can provide
But it won't be love
You'll be blinded by pride
In Luke chapter four
Verses five through seven
Satan tries to make a deal
To keep Jesus from Heaven
He offered Him the world
The very thing He came to save
If Jesus bowed down
And become Satan's slave
But Jesus was wise
He was fasting to prepare
He declined the gift
Leaving Satan in despair
...Will we be ready...
When the gifts are presented
If we haven't been
It's time we repented
