You believe in God
And in Jesus too
Changed your life
Did what Christians do
But there are days
When your flesh is weak
And you've done things
Of which you won't speak
Your Father watches
He sees your walk
He prompts the Spirit
To get you to talk
But you refuse
And fall deeper in sin
Denying God's power
Letting Satan win
A spiritual battle
An all out war
To save your soul
Which Jesus died for
Confession they say
Is good for the soul
When sin is concealed
It takes its toll
Surrounded by friends
You isolate
The things you loved
You now hate
The lessons you hear
No longer pierce
Satan's attack
Becomes fierce
Surrounded by friends
But feeling alone
Carrying this burden
All on your own
Slowly but surely
You drift away
Heart now hardened
Satan's display
Now all in
Back to your old life
The very existence
That caused you strife
But now it's worse
Demons multiplied
Could've been avoided
By renouncing your pride
